About Our Director

Jhavante Hill
My basketball journey started at a young age through youth leagues, and I went on to play all four years at Menlo-Atherton High School. After graduating, I began coaching immediately with the Bay Area Sonics in 2018 and currently run the 7th grade division, with experience coaching NJB, AAU, and school basketball. I also served as the Menlo-Atherton freshman head coach (2019–2022) and assistant varsity coach (2020–2022), helping the program win a CCS Division I championship. Alongside coaching, I’ve worked as a skills trainer, using my experience to connect with athletes from youth through college—sharing knowledge, passion, and a love for the game.
